Happy Birthday Dad!

My daddy's birthday is tomorrow!  He would have been 92.  He was such a strong and interesting man and I loved him dearly.  I promised my mom and dad when I was 15 years old that when they get older and need someone, I would be there for them and they could live with me not in a nursing home.  I hope my care lived up to their expectations.   I miss them and hope they are reunited in heaven. (yes, I believe in heaven, but have found many organized religious institutions self serving....God is in us....not in the church down the street, they need us to help them try to define God.  If you wonder about the reason for this topic, it is my dad.....when I grew up, mom had her belief in God and Dad would always declare himself Atheist or Agnostic.....  But after Mom died, while Dad didn't state his change of his belief, but he began giving me cards, readings, and information with God like messages.   He was a chemical engineer, and I believe his early believes came from the tendency of those in the scientific word to question anything spiritual.  Maybe he needed to get in touch with his spiritual side to stay in touch with Mom while he spent the next few years doing what Mom was instructing him to do......stay with us and take care of us through the upcoming hard times.  Thank you both....be happy together again.
